Decades have passed since the Earth's magnetic poles disappeared, changing the balance forever. As the last remnants of humanity huddle in their bases, the remaining life forms have mutated into so-called xenogens and taken over the outside world. In the midst of this war for life or death, a sentient mushroom lived his little life in the forest. That is, until humans came and took something precious from him--his spore.
