Glico was amazed at the success and popularity of Chocoteck - as they were first called - with sales reaching three times their original estimate. Chocoteck was soon renamed Pocky in recognition of the "pockin" sound they make when munched. Pocky are crunchy and delicious, a great treat that's been around in Japan forever. Yum!
